In Year Six we are taught by Mr Maklin and Mrs Lyell.
In their final year in St. Michael’s, we aim to equip our children with the skills needed to have a successful life in secondary school. Through a cross curriculum approach, we develop knowledge and key skills across the curriculum.
Our Year Six pupils take on extra responsibility as role models to the rest of the school, enjoying special friendships with Reception Class children and leading our Anti-bullying team and School Council. We also elect a Head Boy and Head Girl from Year Six, to represent the school on a number of important occasions.
Most importantly, we try to make sure that our children have a happy final year in primary school and leave St. Michael’s with many wonderful memories.
